Can I get my daughter transferred from a CBSE school in Punjab to UP?
My daughter is studying in class 9th in CBSE board in Punjab and I am transferred to UP. Is it possible to take admission in class 10th at UP CBSE board?

No, I am sorry to say that your daughter cannot get admission in 10th class in different state, even if the board is the same. She will have to get admission in 9th standard all over again in the school she wishes to get admission in and after clearing the examination, she can get admission in 10th board and appear for it in the concluding year.

You can shift your daughter in another school and in another city but she will have to get admission in 9th standard and cannot get admission in 10th class directly. She will have to clear her 9th class and only then can she appear for board examination in the ne =w school she has got admission in.
