A student passed 9th standard from ICSE Board can change the Board from ICSE to CBSE in 10th standard? If yes what is the procedure? Please reply its very urgent.

Yes, it is possible to change the school after completing 9th in ICSE to study 10th in CBSE. You need to follow the steps given below to get admission.

* One who wants admission in 10th class can directly contact the school management.

* The candidate must have passed in all subjects in 9th class.

* He/she need to provide the marks sheet/report card for admission in 10th class in CBSE board.

* The candidate also need to submit following documents.
1. Transfer certificate
2. Previous marks memo
3. Conduct certificate
4. Bonafide.

Sorry to say that , but No it's not possible to change the board after passing 9th standard because registration is already done in 9th class for 10th board exams. You can change only school from ICSE Board to ICSE board if you have any problem regarding with your current school. You can take admission in 9th class again with CBSE board but as per my suggestion it is the worst option and waste your one precious year .
Another option is NIOS board they will provides you admission in 10th class directly on the basis of last class passing certificate. I would like to suggests you continue your studies with same school or change it in 11th class if you wants to

Yes, a student can take admission in class 10th in CBSE Board changing from ICSE Board as it is possible legally.
For that you will need some kind of documents:

Write an application to the current Board that, you want to change from your current Board to CBSE Board in class 10th.
Take a Transfer Certificate (T.C) from your current school.
Collect your class 9th mark sheet from your current school.
Character certificate from the current school.
You will also need an affidavit and migration certificate to change your Board from ICSE to CBSE. etc.

CBSE stands for Central Board of Secondary Education.
ICSE stands for Indian Council of Secondary Certificate.
Both are the boards with provide education up to higher secondary level in India.

It is not possible to change boards in 10th standard after completing 9th.
Since, registration process is completed early in 9th standard,so, students can change schools within same board to continue their study .
Students can change boards either in after 8th or after 10th but not after 9th standard.

So, you have to continue your study in same board from which you have completed 9th .

CBSE stands for central board of secondary education and ICSE stands for Indian council of secondary education.
No,you can't be able to change your board in standard 9th it seems to be impossible beacuse there are some prosedure to fill up the form for 10 board from which in standard 9th your registration will be done.so,its very complicated.
The syllabus of ICSE is of international level apart from that the syllabus of CBSE is totally different.

Yes, you can definitely get admission in class 10th CBSE board in another school and state.

For this you will have to satisfy the following criteria below:

> Applicant should have completed 9th standard as a regular candidate and there should nt e any gap in between his/her studies.

> Applicant should have completed his/her 9th standard from an institution affiliated by CBSE.

> Applicant may get admission to a new CBSE school only if his/her parents are transferred /shifted from one place to another.

> Applicant should carry previous year, i.e. 9th mark sheet along with the Transfer Certificate and character certificate, all duly attested from previous school of the board concerned.

No a student cannot change his board in class 10th. As the syllabus of CBSE and ICSE is different. Student may face problems while changing his board in class 10th. It will take time to adjust in new board and school. In class 10th there is no time to waste.

No any school will allow you to take admission by changing your board. So, i suggest you to remain in same board. Your have already studied class 9th from CBSE so there is no chance for you to change the board.

Can a 9th Standard student of CBSE Board get admission in to 10th of ICSE Board . He has studied in ICSE Board from 1-8th Std. so matching a level is not a problem . But ,legally he should be allowed to do so . This is in case of shifting from other country to India

my daughter is studying in West Bengal ICSE board. We are in paramilitary, and next year we will be transferred to other city where limited number of ICSE schools are available. For our convenience, can we shift her from ICSE to CBSE board in 10th class next year in April 2020.
