Sir/Mam, I want to know that. My name is Danush, now studying 10th class Government high school 10th class, and I am live in Andrapradesh dist Chittoor. How may I get admission in military school after class? Please tell how to admission in class 11th in Rashtriya military school?

Procedure to get admission in Military School after 10th standard:-

To get admission in 11th standard in military school after completion of a 10th standard from a recognised board, you need to obtain the application form from the military school.

Eligibility criteria:-

Only boys between the age of 15 to 16 years as on 1st July of the year of admission are eligible to apply for 11th standard admission in military school.

The candidate should have passed class 10th from CBSE board with CGPA between 9th and 10th.

On the basis of CGPA few candidates will be called for interview.

Selected candidates will have to undergo medical exam at the command zonal and other military hospitals and if those found medically fit, then only they will be offered admission for 11th standard in military school.

Let me tell you that if you want to join Indian Military Academy then you are not eligible after class 10th because for that a candidate must be graduate from a recognised University and age limit should be in between 19 to 24 years. After completing your graduation you can join Indian Military Academy through CDS examination. Notifications for CDS comes twice in a year in May and June and November and December. NDA graduates are also trained at IMA, Dehradun. If you complete your 12th standard with science stream having physics, chemistry and mathematics as you are the subjects then you can also appear in NDA examination and if qualified.

One who is interested to join Indian Military Academy must have completed 12th standard and after completing 12th standard with PCM can join NDA after qualifying the entrance test that is conducted by UPSC twice in a year in the month of April and September. Secondly you can complete your graduation either in science or commerce stream and after that you can appear in CDS examination and if you're qualified then also you can join the Indian Military Academy through CVS examination and age should be in between 19 to 24 years.

It is not possible to get the admission in the military school directly in 11th.

The schools maintain a culture of training the students from a very young age. They take the admission as early as in class 6th and close them afterwards. There is no provision of admission in 11th class directly.

You can take admission in Rashtriya Military School after completion of your 10th standard. In order to get admission into the aforesaid school you have to apply its admission form and fill it with all the required necessary details. You also have to submit some documents like photocopy of your class 10th passing certificate, migration certificate, character certificate, transfer certificate, passing certificate of the qualifying examination exam, passport size photo, etc along with the application form. Admission to class 11 in Rashtriya Military School will be be given on the basis of your performance in the qualifying examination.

In order to take admission in any Military School in class 11th, you must have to complete your class 10th examination from a recognized Board of Education.
Get the admission form from the School authorities. Submit the duly filled application form along with the required documents.
Admission is based on the marks scored in class 10th examination. Merit marks candidates are preferred first for the admission.
Candidates age must be in between 15 to 16 years at the time of admission in class 11th.
