You should choose Commerce, Accountancy, Mathematics & Economics subjects in your 11th and 12th standard for clearing CPT examination. CPT is relatively easier examination only, so the student can clear easily. These are the subjects which will helps you to study CA in future. So choose the above given subjects in 10+2.

The CA CPT examination contains the following subjects;

Fundamentals of Accounting (60 marks)
Mercantile Law (40 marks)
General Economics (50 marks)
Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks)

CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test. CPT is an objective examination and it consists of questions from subjects like Accountancy, Mercantile law, Economics and Aptitude.

If you want to enroll in Chartered Accountancy course in future then you must opt for commerce stream in 10+1. Commerce stream is the most suitable stream for candidates who want to excel in Chartered Accountancy course.

You can apply for this exam after 10+2. CPT is conducted in June and December every year by ICAI. Apply for this exam at http://www.icai.org.

It would be better to opt for commerce stream with economics and business studies to make yourself better prepared for CPT. Although, any stream 10+2 students are eligible for it.
The subjects in CA CPT are mostly related to commerce stream. If you have studied commerce stream then it would be easy for you to crack it.

CPT stands for Common Proficiency Test. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is examination conducting authority for CPT. This examination is conducted in June and December every year.

For becoming Chartered Accountant, you must take commerce stream in 11th as it will help you a lot in pursuing this course. CPT consists of questions from following subjects like:

>>Accountancy.

>>Economics.

>>Mercantile Law.

>>Quantitative Aptitude.

These subjects you will study in commerce stream.

You will necessarily have to choose the commerce stream to be eligible to opt for CA.
The subjects in CPT are
Accounting
Law
Economics
Aptitude
Thus you will have to take these subjects necessarily and also Maths which is compulsory.
