Is there any chance to get above 90% in Board exam if secured above 85% in 10th ICSE Selection exam?

Sir,
I am studying in 10th standard with ICSE Board. I have scored above 85 percent in my selection. My classmates are saying that what I have scored is good, but my parents are extremely unhappy. I have heard from a few people that if you score around 85 percent in selection then you can easily get above 90% in ICSE Board exams, is it true?
