I am about to complete my 5th standard. After this i want to get admission in military school. Please tell me the complete process for that?

Military Schools are very well reputed schools in India. For getting admission in Military school after 5th standard you have to appear in the entrance test conducted for admission in 6th class. The entrance test is conducted under the name Common entrance test. After qualifying the exam you have to purchase the admission form and submit it to the school after filling properly. You would have to attach a photocopy of birth certificate, passing mark sheet of 5th standard and 2 passport size photographs. After submitting the form along with the complete fee you can start your classes from the decided date.

You can get admission in Army school but for that you have to qualify CTET exam . This exam is organised in the month of December. But only boys are eligible to apply. Intelligence, General Knowledge, Mathematics, English, are the subjects in which exam will be held. This has to be taken in mind that 70% seats are reserved for Army, Navy and Air force personnel (including ex-servicemen).

Basically most of the seats in Military schools are reserved for children's of defense personals only few seats are available for civilians. Procedure is quite simple. First of all you need to clarify written test.

Once you clear entrance written test then they will shortlist students according to marks score in written test. As if you will short listed then you need to give a medical test too. Once you clear this medical test then you will be admitted. After that complete admission related formalities.

Admission is provided on merit based on role model concept. Admission test is also conducted as per AWES rules. However, for admission in class 5, candidate should be a minimum 9 years of age as on 31st march of that year.

> Character Certificate.

> Birth Certificate.

> Marks Sheet/Progress Report.

> 2 recent passport size photographs.
