What should I study in 11th standard to become an IAS Officer?
Hello Everyone,
I am now passed my 10th class and I have got 80% in my 10th class result. I am interested to become an IAS Officer. Please tell me what I should choose in 11th class? |

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service.
Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) conducts examination of IAS. It is one the toughest examination conducted in India. Eligibility criteria to apply for IAS are -Candidate must be a citizen of India. -Candidate must be of age 21-30 years of age and 5 years of relaxation is available for reserved category candidates. -Candidate must holds graduation degree in any disciple from any recognized university. Students can choose any subject and stream in higher secondary and graduation. So, you can choose any subject and stream according to your strength and interest to score good marks. |

You can choose any stream according to your choice. After passing class 12th you need to pass Graduation after that you can apply for IAS.
Eligibility Criteria- You must be an Indian citizen. Your Age must not be less than 21 years and must not be more than 30 years. Relaxation is given to ST/SC candidates for 5 years. You must have Graduation Degree. |

For IAS there is not any special stream you have to decide. You can choose your interesting stream.But for IAS you have to practise hard in your study.
But in stream If you choose arts .This is much helpful to you for IAS because history ,politics,g.k. knowledge is helpful to yiu in general studies. For the exam of Ias there is 21 year age for a person with graduation as a compulsion. Then you will be elligible for IAS EXAMS. |

There is no chance to become an IAS officer with 10th standard.
For Applying the IAS exam you must have graduation with any stream from recognised university. because the minimum educational qualification required for IAS is bachelor of degree After completion of your graduation First you can appear for Civil Examination Civil Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission in yearly ones, For this Civil Examination some eligibility are there if you satisfy these all eligibility then you are eligible for civil examination Eligibility Criteria for Civil Examination Nationality ; Candidates should be a citizen of India Educational Qualification ; Candidates have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university, Final year students also eligible for this examination There is no percentage required for this examination Age Limit ; Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates 5 years relaxation for SC/ST, 3 years relaxation for OBC candidates Selection Procedure ; Preliminary Examination Mains Examination Interview Test. IF your goal is IAS then you can better to choose Mathematical related Stream, it is useful to you in preparation IAS. And Improve English , General Studies and Reasoning as much as possible. |
