Dear sir,
i want to join merchant navy as deck cadet so please tell me how to join it, what is duration of course, what is placement procedure and what is fee structure

Eligibility criteria to join merchant navy as a Deck Cadet are as under :-

- The candidate must have passed 10+2 in Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics group of subjects with at least 60 % marks from a recognized board .

-The candidate age limit to apply for the post is from 21 years to 24 years .

-The candidate should be physically and mentally fit as per the norms of the navy .

The physical requirements for a candidate to join merchant navy as deck cadet are as under :-

Height : 167 cm

Weight : 50 kg

Chest : 77 cm without expansion and 82 cm with expansion

Eye- sight : 6/6 without color blindness
