Actually i m the student of 11th science and i m interested for genetic engineering in my furmture so i want to know the course for it and the best colleges in Gujarat ?? And one more thing is it directly after 12th?? Can someone please answer me on this!

To start your career in Genetic Engineering, you can pursue your bachelor course in Genetic Engineering from engineering college.

You will have to qualify entrance exam for those specific colleges to get admission in the campus.

You can take admission through JEE Main Exam or State Engineering entrance exam conducted in Gujarat state.

Yes you can apply for genetic engineering after completing 12th.

Most institutes do not offer courses in Genetic Engineering as a special discipline but as a subsidiary in biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry streams. Undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Biotechnology offer specialisation in genetic engineering.

1. In order to do Genetic engineering you must complete 12th with maths, physics and chemistry course from a recognized board.
2. Your age must be in 17 - 25 years.
3. You must have minimum 45% marks in 12th.

The admission is based on the engineering entrance exam, which is conducted every year by the state and central government.

Even if you are from biology stream , you can apply for B.Sc genetics course.

For the admission in the genetic engineering after the 12th class you have to qualify the written exam for the admission in engineering that is-

after qualifying any of these exam you can apply for the online counselling and have to fill the choice of the college where the course of the genetic engineering is offered and after that within the given time the result of the counselling will be announced with the selected candidates.

Now , You are studying in 11th Class and having interest to enroll in Genetics Engineering.For that , You have to complete (10+2) in science stream.Then after , You can apply for Genetics Engineering.
