[NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY]

Dear Aspirant

NDA stands for National Defence Academy. To join NDA you need to pass Written test, Interview & Medical Test. Through NDA you can join following defence wings.

Indian Army
Indian Air Force
Indian Navy


Medical fitness is very necessary thing for NDA so if you are medically unfit then you can not join NDA. Followings are the Physical standard required to join NDA...


Height & Weight standard for NDA





Visual/Eyesight Standard for NDA







Chest requirement for NDA

Chest should be well developed. Fully expanded chest should not be less than 81 cms. The minimum range of expansion after full inspiration should be 5 cms.



Besides these You have to pass following Fitness Test

Running- 2.5 to 3 km with in 15 minus.

Rope climbing- Upto 12 feet

Push ups- 19 to 21


{Note : Candidates must be Physically AND MENTALLY fit According to the above pre-scribed Physical standards.}

Pattern of NDA Written Test & Interview

Qualification criteria for NDA:

Indian Army-Must passed 12th standard in any stream from central or state board of education.

Indian Navy- Must passs 12th standard with Science(PCM) stream.

Indian Air Force-Must passs 12th standard with Science(PCM) stream.

Age limit- Must be in between 16.5 to 19 years.

Nationality- Indian.

Sex- Male(Unmarried).

Sorry if you are medically unfit you are not eligible to join NDA as Physical fitness is one of the most important eligibility criteria of NDA required to fulfilled.

Hi,
if you medically unfit then you not have a choice for apply to NDA exam.
If you have physically fit in your personality wITH you must be complete your 12th standard. In 12th your subject must be study on maths and physics.
Your age is between under 16.5 years to 19years , after your age is 16.5years then you can apply for nda,in nda exam is use full to army,navy jobs.
