what is the minimum percentage required for b.com after +2 in c.b.s.e

B.Com course is a 3 year Graduation level arts related course being offered by many of the colleges all over India.

There is no criteria of percentage of marks in 12th class required for the candidates to get admission for this course.

Direct admission will be given for this course in many of the colleges.

But, better if you secure minimum of 50% of marks in your 10+2.

Try to get admission for this course in University campus so that there is a more scope for you to gain good subject knowledge.

Soon after the completion of B.Com course, I suggest you to opt for MBA course which is in great demand in these days.

The candidates who have completed MBA course can make their entry into any of the business sectors like
-Banking sector
-Insurance sector
-FMCG
-Telecom sector
-Infrastructure etc.

You can join MBA course by cracking any of the following Entrance Exams like
-CAT
-MAT
-GMAT etc.

During your B.Com course, you may go through the subjects like
-Business law
-Taxation
-Managerial Economics
-Financial Management
-Financial Accounting etc.

Many of the subjects which you are going to study in MBA Finance will also be there in B.Com course.

So, I suggest you to try to be strong enough in the fundamentals of all the subjects.

B.com course is taken after completing the 12th standard candidates which any stream.

B.com course duration is the 3 years.

There is no minimum percentage of marks required. You can join directly the available colleges.

There is many colleges to join the B.com course.

But you can better to join the this course with minimum 50% of marks.

This percentage used for the after completing the B.com course.

After complete the this course you can choose the option of MBA course.

Candidates passing from different board has different criteria for getting admission.

However, to get admission in Commerce and Business Administration in Commerce Department for Bachelor degree course you need to get atleast 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board.

But, if you get 60% aggregate marks or more than your chances are brighter to get admission.

There is no need of percentage in 10+2 to get an admission in b.com reputed colleges.

So, no need to worry about the percentage of marks in 12th standard, but if you have secure 50% to 60% marks.

You should be passed 12th standard from any of the central or state board.

You should be a citizen of india.

No backlogs in your 12th standard.


B.com is a 3 years graduation course. It is a combination of accounts and commerce subjects.

After this 3 years graduation course you have to go for MBA or MCA.

MBA is nothing but Master of Business Admission, and it is related to your b.com course subjects.


MCA means Master of Computer Applications, and it is software related subjects course.


So, choice is yours, but better to go for MBA because in these days MBA is a demanded qualification in most of the sailes related companies.

CAT,

MAT,

XAT,

GMAT,

and other state level entrance exams.

there is no particular percentage required to go for b.com after 10+2 you can directly go for it if you are passed in 10+2 in all subjects ...
but try take seat in the good colleges like universities because the offer good quality of education with the placements in the final year itself...

you have complete 12th class
there are a necessary condition is that you have already commerce subject in 12th class.
there is 50% requirement of percentage to take admission in B.Com.
many university take entrance exam but most of universities is not take any exam they give the admission on the basis of 12th class result.
you ask from your city college.
