Narmada Hydroelectric Development Corporation was established as a result of the joint venture of NHPC and the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It is a premier company whose major function is to develop and generate the Hydropower in the state of Madhya PRadesh. The comapny has now also entered in the fields of conventional or non- conventional energy sources such as Thermal & Wind. Recently, the company has started a new project in the state by the name of Supercritical Thermal Power & Wind Power Project.
