Clinical Pathology is a branch of medicine, which is called by this name in some countries, while it is referred by other names like laboratory medicine, clinical/medical biology and clinical analysis in some countries.

For getting into to the Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pathology course, candidates must have completed their MBBS with internship from an institution that has earned approval from the Medical Council of India.

Job scope for diploma holders in clinical pathology:

Candidates, who have completed their diploma in clinical pathology, can find employment opportunities in medical laboratories of popular hospitals or they can also start their own laboratory and can become entrepreneurs.
