Cardiothoracic Surgery is the branch of medicine that offers surgical treatment for diseases pertaining to organs inside the chest and this branch normally treats conditions related to lung and heart diseases. On the other hand, vascular surgery is a branch that treats problems pertaining to veins and arteries through surgical methods.

Eligibility requirement:

For seeking admission to the M. Ch in Cardio Thoracic & Vascular Surgery course, candidates must have completed their Master of Surgery in General Surgery course from an autonomous institution/Indian university approved by the Medical Council of India. In the case of candidate having any other equivalent qualification, their admission will be decided by the autonomous institute/affiliated university of the colleges in which the candidate is seeking admission.  Admission of these students will be made after referring the matter to the Board of Studies for the super-specialties.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates for the M. Candidates will be selected through open selection process, which will have four stages namely pre-selection assessment of career, written test, departmental assessment and final interview.
