Duration of the course and subjects covered:

The duration of M. Sc Medical Biotechnology course is normally two years with two semesters for each year. The course cover subjects like molecular biology, clinical and nutritional biochemistry, biomembrances and bioenergetics, structural biology, intermediary metabolism of carbohydrates and lipids, enzymology, basic immunology, virology and microbiology, human physiology, biophysical chemistry and bioorganic chemistry.

Eligibility for seeking admission to the M. Sc Medical Biochemistry course:

For seeking admission to the M. Sc Medical biochemistry course, candidates must have completed their Bachelor of Science in any of the branches of life science like botany, zoology, physiology, chemistry and microbiology. In the case of candidates belonging to general category, the minimum qualifying mark is 55%, while for reserved category candidates the required percentage of marks in the B. Sc course is 50%.
