Gyan Vihar University was established on 19th February 1994 by Acharya Shri Purushottam Uttam. The University offers various levels of courses in different disciplines like Social Science, Pharmacy, Bio-Applied Pure Sciences, Business Management, Hospitality, Engineering & Technology, etc. The students are admitted to the Ph.D course in this University through the entrance exam. Those who clear the test will be selected for the interview.

Structure of Gyan Vihar University Ph.D in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry Entrance Exam

The total duration of Gyan Vihar University Ph.D entrance exam is 3 hours. The exam includes two papers – Paper I and Paper II. The first paper is common to all the branches. Paper I comprises of objective type questions and Paper II is a descriptive one. The candidates can take at most 1 hour to complete the first paper and within the remaining 2 hours they have to complete the second paper.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for the Ph.D entrance test conducted by the Gyan Vihar University, the candidates are required to complete the Master’s degree or equivalent in the respective stream. Also, they must have achieved a minimum of 60% marks in the post graduation.

How to Apply?

The candidates have to download the application form from the official website of the University. Then complete the form suitably and submit it online. The relevant documents should be uploaded along with the completed form. The candidates are not required to take the hardcopy of the filled application. They are required to submit the exam fee of Rs. 500 through Demand Draft. The DD taken should be payable at Jaipur and in favor of Suresh Gyan Vihar University.

How to fill the Form?

Before filling the form, the candidates should be aware of the instructions to fill the form. For this, they should read the information booklet with utmost care. Then furnish the columns accurately and legibly. The date of birth and name must be entered similar to that in the original certificates. The applicants should provide the full address with pin code in the space provided. They must be careful in not leaving any column blank. If so, the application form will be rejected. Finally, check whether the signatures were put at the spaces mentioned in the form. The candidates should enclose the relevant documents and certificates along with the filled application. The document must be tagged appropriately.
