Haryana Combined Online Entrance Test is conducted by Haryana State counseling Society for the selection of candidates for different courses. Haryana Combined Online Entrance Test (OLET BE/B TECH) is an entrance test conducted by HSCS for the admission into the first year BE /B.Tech courses offered by different government and self financing institutes in Haryana. The duration of the courses offered by this institutes are four years.

Structure of Haryana Combined Online Entrance Test (OLET BE/B TECH)

The candidates who have a wish to get admission for the B Tech courses in Haryana have to attend for the online test conducted by HSCS. The test consists of one paper of 90 multiple choice questions. The time for completing the exam is ninety minutes and maximum marks awarded for the test is 90 marks.  The test comprises of questions to analyze the candidates’ fundamental awareness in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and mathematics. Those who clear the online test will be eligible for getting admission in any of the institutes in Haryana.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Examination with minimum 50 % from any recognized board can apply for the test. The candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics in their plus two classes and Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/ Biology as an optional subject. The SC/ST candidates are provided with 5% of marks relaxation for the test.

How to Apply?

The registration for the online test is only possible through the website http://onlinetesthry.nic.in. The candidates have to visit the website and have to register for the exam. After registering the candidates receive an application number through the website. Using this number the candidates will get an application form and a fee receipt form. The candidates have to pay the exam fee of Rs. 500 in any Axis bank or Punjab National Bank Branches. The candidates have to send the fee payment receipt and print out copy of the application form to the HSCS office before the due date.

How to fill the Form?

Before registering for the exam the candidates have to read all the instructions for registration and filling the form. All the details filled in the application form must be correct. The candidates have to keep the application number which they get after registration. This number is necessary for all future references. The print out copy of the application form must be filled correctly and the photograph of the candidates must be pasted in it. The form enclosed with the fee payment receipt should be forwarded to the concerned office as early as possible before the deadline.
