Harlal Institute of Management and Technology conducts an admission process for its two years Post Graduation Diploma in Management (PGDM) Programme. Its PGDM programme is approved by AICTE and is considered equivalent to MBA. HIMT was established in 1998 by Shanti Educational Society. The institute has modern facilities for management education and provides its students with full placement assistance. Being located in Greater Noida it also has an advantage of the location.

The short listing and selection procedure of HIMT is different and unique. One has to undergo the selection procedure of the HIMT PGDM program.

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be eligible for the PGDM program of HIMT, one will have to be a graduate with bachelor’s degree or its equivalent. The candidate should have secured at least 50% in their graduation and the degree should be from a well recognized and affiliated university. Those candidates, who are in their final year of graduation, can also apply for this program.

Availability of Application forms:

Application forms for PGDM programmes of HIMT will be available directly from the institute and can also be downloaded through the website www.himt.ac.in. The candidates are advised to go through the website and carefully go through different steps as well as important instructions before actually applying.  Candidates can also obtain the application form by post by sending a request to the institute. These candidates who are interested in applying through post medium have to follow certain important steps. They have to particularly mention their registration number at the top right hand side of the requisite letter they will send. Secondly, these candidates are also advised to provide a specimen of their signature at the back side of the Demand Draft they have drawn against the cost of the application form.

Selection process:

The scores of CAT/MAT are taken in to consideration while selecting the candidates for the PGDM program. Those candidates who meet the requirements of the CAT/MAT score analysis are then called in for the group discussion. The group discussion is then carried further with a personal interview, and on the basis of all the three perspective, candidates are selected for the PGDM program.
