Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S) is a course of 5 and a half years duration which focuses on the study of various aspects concerning the area of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. BAMS Entrance Exams Pattern
B.A.M.S Entrance Exam will have duration of four hours. The exam comprises of 2 papers and each one have equal time duration of 2 hours. One paper includes Botany and Zoology. Next paper covers Physics and also Chemistry. This exam includes only objective type questions. Aspirants have to choose the most suitable answer from the given choices. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer. ¼ marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.
General guidelines for preparing for BAMS Entrance Exams
- Students should go through the notes prepared by them.
- They must first cover up the hard part and then move on to the easy part.
- Going through the sample papers of previous years will help them to get informed about the syllabus and also the latest changes occurred in the question pattern.
- They must be prepared to work hard and should also put up a systematic study plan.

- They need to set up a good study plan well before the exam.
- The plan must give priority to the tough portions.
