Information Technology revolution has brought vast changes in India. It gave a severe shake to our social structure. Shopping malls, funky Coffee shops, Flats, Restaurants, etc are some of the examples for IT revolution in India. A social imbalance is now created in India by IT revolution. IT was only used in manufacturing sector in early days now it’s implemented by all the organizations.

Students inspired by IT jobs

IT career has become an aspiration for all job seekers and youngsters in India. Students including Engineering students, fresh graduates and others are very much obsessed to IT jobs. Students are not even concerned about their streams, every student mainly engineering students are trying only for IT- Jobs. The main pull-factors are very high salary and fast growth. IT companies are the only companies which pays more to fresher. Due to this the other companies are striving to pay and hold their employees. Infosys, Wipro and Tata Consultancy Services are some of the big companies which need the best talent during the starting stages. The main factor is that entire youth of today are mainly focusing on quick money making and luxurious life.

The high starting salaries offered by IT companies are very much attractive so everyone get admired to this easily and conveniently. There are better packages in many IT firms; a person who is having experience can shine in this field. Packages are all about negotiations if a person has certain years of experience, he can ask them the salary he needs and the companies are ready to pay them if they are experts. There are tech savvy’s, net savvy’s etc. now due to the application of IT the technology have improved a lot and students from the small age itself using computers, internet etc, and they are trained themselves by using computers which make students more comfortable with IT jobs. Mainly companies from abroad and Indian companies will outsource the work that is why there are many IT firms in India.

IT’s importance in various fields

As we all know Information Technology is India’s tomorrow, so all the educational institutions in India are using IT for teaching and also the students get an idea about this field, so that institutions are using most recent technologies to train students. Whereas in Hospitals now with the application of IT is all the hospitals are managed in India. Starting from the front office IT has been used for everything in hospital.

All the information of the patients like name, age, sex, blood group, height, weight, found diseases; blood pressure level, sugar level, cholesterol level etc. are recorded and maintained in the computer database of the hospital. Computers are also used in billing, transferring any data’s within the hospital departments. And also in banking industry, there is a vast improvement in banking industry due to IT revolution. All the banks have done 100% computerization. Now the transactions are being done in a faster rate. The banks also provide facilities like internet banking, mobile banking, etc. with the help of IT.

Railways, Medical shops, Research, Share market, Ad agency etc. are some of the fields were IT is implemented. IT applications also helped other service sectors such as online reservation for film shows, regional transport stations, leading libraries, online shopping etc.

Problems due to IT revolution

As of now, the activities of IT have been expanding to areas in general. When we observe closely there are many problems which are being faced for the implementation of IT in various sectors. Training should be imparted regularly to translate in to an environment which enables the people to share the experience and knowledge among themselves. The practical knowledge that has been acquired should be used for creating a learning experience. The candidates should not devote themselves to certain things which will not fetch them any advantage. The IT revolution has enabled in bringing investments from abroad here. The teachers are given intensive training classes in promoting E-based learning students among the students.

The people residing in rural areas are not much aware about the use and importance of IT. Hence the people should be given seminars and other lecturers in this area. Hence the programs be aimed or should promote in making the society aware about the importance of IT. Information Technology is important in all respects. The growth opportunities in this sector signifies that India as a country has high growth potential. It can change the overall need of the society on a whole. India has been regarded as a superior power in terms of the IT accessibility. Many changes have been undergone in this are apart from the past where in it can be seen that the almost every sections in a particular sector has been using IT as a major tool.

IT has been regarded as a great success in the corporate level also. The real truth being the maximum potential of IT can be analyzed only when it has been implemented at the correct place according to the needs. The government initiative in the implementation of IT has been tremendous. The government is involves in identifying the various difficulties involved in implementation of IT. The corrective steps are being implemented by the government for speedy implementation of IT in various sectors in the country on a whole.

Hence Information Technology has become one of the sought after career option among the students also. The rate at which this industry is changing has been tremendous. The whole area of IT in large involves both the hardware as well as the software sector. The candidates who are interested in this segment should select the segment according to their level of skills and aptitude. The various opportunities in this segment vary as per the interest of the individuals. The over all development of a particular industry depends on the amount of opportunities that sector fetches to the students who are involved here. Hence, in this regard IT as an industry is progressing day by day.
