Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) is conducting an entrance examination for B.Ed course every year to select eligible candidates for different colleges. The name of the examination is Jammu and Kashmir B Ed Entrance Examination (JnK B.Ed Test).Candidates successfully completing this examination will be given admission in some of the government B.Ed colleges in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Structure of JnK B.Ed Test

The exam consists of only a single paper .There will be a total of 90 questions. The questions will be from General English, General Awareness and Numerical Aptitude. There will not be equal number of questions from the 3 sections .Duration of the exam will one and a half hours. The question will be of multiple choices. Candidates need to mark the correct answers.

Eligibility Criteria

Following criteria  need to be met if a candidates wishes to apply for the test

Candidates applying for Jammu and Kashmir B Ed Entrance Examination (JnK B.Ed Test) must be living in Jammu and Kashmir for more than 20 years (or permanent resident).

Applicants should have successfully completed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./BCA/BBA.The degree course must have been a 3 year course.

For the candidates belonging to the general category, they should have scored minimum 50% marks in the degree examination.

For the candidates belonging to the scheduled caste or scheduled tribe or any other backward classes, 40 %marks are only required in the degree examination.

How to Apply?

Application form and brochure will be available from the selected branches of the Jammu and Kashmir B Ed Entrance Examination board. For getting the application form candidate will need to pay a fee of Rs 850 in the form of DD in favour of the FA/CAO Board of Professional Entrance Examination. The fees once paid will not be refunded.

How to fill the Form?

Candidate should fill the form in capital letters only. Take necessary care while filling because if error occurs in the form then it will be only the responsibility of the applicant. Those forms will be rejected instantly. Candidate should enter the name as in the 10 th standard certificate only. Write only one word in each box and leave one box as blank between names.
