The Jharkhand Combined Medical Entrance Competitive Examination is one of the well known medical entrance exam in India conducted by the JCECE board. The admission process of the Medical, Dental and Homeopathic colleges in the state are done through the merit list of JCECE medical entrance exam. The local residents of the Jharkhand are take this exam on a priority basis.

Structure of JCECE Medical

The JCECE Medical test will be carried out in two phases. The first stage is the preliminary examination which consists of single paper carrying 200 questions with two and half hours duration. The preliminary paper covers the areas of PCMB with objective questions and there will be marks deduction for the wrong answers.

The second stage is the Main exam and the qualified students of the preliminary exam can take the main paper. It consist of two papers,

• Paper I: Physics and Chemistry (180 minutes having 200 questions)
• Paper II: Biology (100 questions with 90 minutes)
• The main paper is also objective in nature and there will also be negative marking for the wrong answers.

Eligibility Criteria JCECE Medical exam

The candidates should be a local resident of the state with minimum 17 years of age. They must have at least 50% marks in the science stream in their higher secondary level. The eligible group will get the relaxation as per norms. The candidates must learn Physics and chemistry along with English and Biology in the plus-two level from the recognized board.

How to Apply for JCECE Medical exam?

The candidates can buy the application form along with the information bulletin from the chosen post office in Jarkhand by the cash payment of Rs. 585/-. The form can be downloaded from the official website of JCECE board. Such candidates need to take the DD of the application form in favor of Secretary, JCECE and put the details in the downloaded form.

How to fill the Form for JCECE Medical exam?

The candidates should fill the form with needed care and fill the form individually. The instruction followed while filling the form is there in the booklet so read it before filling the form. The candidates should write in block letters and make sure the provided information is valid as per the official records. The candidates who have procured the form from the chosen post office need to send the filled form through the same post office only. The applicants who have downloaded the form from the portal need to suggest the details of the DD in the prescribed column.  The form should reach the JCECE board before closing date.

The qualified candidates of the examination will also get the individual score card through post.

Score Validity

The score of the examination will valid for one year but it is useful only at the time of admission process.
