Union Public Service Commission is an government organisation formed on October 1, 1926. The commission aims to serve Indian region only. The commission is a constritutional body located at Shahjahan Road, New Delhi. The first Public Service Commission was set up on October 1, 1926 by the then British Indian Government. The major function of the commission is to conduct written as well as interview examination for making appointment of suitable candidates to the various Civil Service of India. The strength of commission is comprises of a Chairman and nine other members.

1. Recruitment of Joint Agriculture Marketing Advisor:

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Agriculture or Botany or Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Marketing or Economics or Commerce with Economics or Veterinary Science from a recognized university.

2. Recruitment of Fisheries Scientist:

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university or equivalent with atleast 8 years of practice as an Advocate.
