Union Public Service Commission is a Government Organization which came into existence on October 1, 1926. The commission is located at Dholpur House, New Delhi. The commission is mainly aimed to serve the region of India. The commission is responsible for conducting the examinations for making appointments to the variouys Civil Services of India. The first ever Publice Service commission in India was set up on October 1, 1926. The first commission was established by the then British Indian Government on the demands of the Indian Politicians. The commission is consist of a Chairman and other members.

Job Profile:

Union Public Service Commission is inviting online applications for filling up the following vacant positions of Senior Fisheries Scientist, Microphotographist, Deputy Director, Associate Town and Country Planner and Senior Lecturer (Radio Diagnosis) in various ministries and departments of Government of India.

1. Recruitment of Senior Fisheries Scientist:
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should not exceed 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Zoology or Marine Biology or Fisheries Science or Fisheries Management or Oceonography from a recognized university or equivalent.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

2. Recruitment of Microphotographist:
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should not exceed 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Physics from a recognized university or equivalent with atleast two years experience of work in Reprographics.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

3. Recruitment of Deputy Director (Safety):
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should not exceed 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent with atleast five years of experience in handling various aspects of industrial safety in anu technical institution.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4600.

4. Recruitment of Associate Town and Country Planner:
No. of posts: Only 7 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should not exceed 40 years.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree or Diploma in Regional Planning from a recognized university or equivalent. Candidates with associateship of the institute of Town Planners or equivalent are desirable for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

5. Recruitment of Senior Lecturer (Radiodiagnosis):
No. of posts: Only 2 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidate’s age should not exceed 55 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess basic university or equivalent qualification included in any one of the Schedules to the Indian medical Council Act, 1956.
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 8600.

Application Fee:

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 50. The application fee must be paid through the means of a Central Recruitment Fee Stamp. No fee is required to be submitted by the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories. No fee exemption is available for OBC candidates.
