Charotar University of Science & Technology came into existence through an act of the state of Gujarat in the year 2009. The journey of the university began in the year 2000 with just one institution, four courses and 240 students. But now the university is offering 28 different UG and PG courses through seven institutions with a student-strength of nearly 4000 students. The constituent colleges operating under the university are offering education under different disciplines like Nursing, Physiotherapy, applied sciences, management, Pharmacy, computer Applications and engineering & technology. Under the faculty of medical science two colleges are functioning, one college under applied sciences, one college under management, one college under pharmacy, one under computer applications and one under technology discipline.
Charotar Changa University also offers several short-term courses on different subjects like instrumentation, basic structural analysis, physics and training programs on molecular biological techniques.
