Member Technical Staff, Web Designer, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing
Centre for Development of Advanced Computing was set up in the year 1984 as a premier R&D organization of the Department of Information Technology. The centre comes under the control of Ministry of COmmunications & Information Technology. The centre is mainly responsible for carrying out research and development activities in the fields of Information Technology, Electronics and associated areas. The centre is located at Pune, India. It has an urban campus. The main idea behind the establishment of the centre was to build supercomputers in context of denail of import of supercomputers by USA.
Job Profile:
Centre for Development of Advanced Computing is inviting applications from skilled and result oriented R&D profssionals in Software and Hardware Development in its focussed domain activities. Candidates will be appointed on the the positions of Member Technical Staff and Web Designer, purely on contract basis for a period of five years.
Eligibility:
The maximum age limit set for the post of Member Technical Staff and Web Designer is 30 years as on 1 July 2011. Candidates are required to have age less than the 30 years. Candidates having age more than 30 years should not apply for any of the two specified posts in Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, as applications made by uneligible candidates will not be considered at all.
Educational Qualification:
Member Technical Staff: B.E.or B.Tech in Computer Science or Information Technology or Instrumentation or Electronics & telecommunications with minimum one yeasr of R&D experience in relevant field. Candidates should have possesed atleast 60% marks in aggregate in B.E. or B.Tech.
Web Designer: Candidates should have done MFA with atleast 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates should also possess atleast three years of experience in the field of web designing.

Member Technical Staff: Only 16 posts are available.
(Gen-8, SC-3 and OBC-4)
Web Designer: Only 1 post is available.
Pay Scale:
Member Technical Staff: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Web Designer: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Application Fee:
Interested candidates (only General and OBC categories candidates) should submit an application fee of Rs. 300 for applying for any of the two above specified posts. No fee is need to be paid by SC/ST categories candidates. THe application fee is required to be submitted through the means of a crossed Demand Draft from a scheduled bank drawn in favour of CDAC, Bangalore payable at Bangalore.

Applications are need to be sent in accordance with the other required enclosures which also includes the demand draft of requisite application fee.
