Structure of MIT BE (Lateral Entry)

Eligibility Criteria

The applicants having three year diploma in any engineering streams recognized by Board of technical examination in the respective state can apply for the MIT BE entrance examination.  The science graduates with Mathematics as a subject in their undergraduate curriculum can also apply for the test. The candidates should have a minimum of 60% marks in the final university/board examination. The B. Sc candidates can apply to any interested stream of engineering program but the diploma gradates can apply only to their diploma stream or related in the engineering level.

How to fill the Form?

The instruction for writing the information on the form is there with the manual purchased with the form. After reading the information stated in the manual the applicant can fill the form without making any error. Applicant can fill the form using a pen as suggested in the instruction form. The filled form should arrive at the center before the final date for submission.

The number of seats for the lateral entry program in MIT is limited and hence only the top scorers can make their admission into Manipal University. Cover the suggested syllabus for the lateral entry program without avoiding any topics. Use the text books in the diploma level and graduation level for preparing the examination. There also many online preparation resources are available for the lateral entry candidates. The reference books on each subject are also useful for the basic preparation. Preparation based on question papers and mock test are also effective. Find your own method for improving the communication language skills and improve the vocabulary part to score high in the communication section.
