Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Delhi University

Applicants should hold Bachelors Degree with Chemistry/Physics subjects and should have 60% marks (Reserved category students need 55% aggregate marks). One year course in Mathematics should also be completed. Apart from that candidates must qualify Joint Admission Test (JAM) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology for M.Sc in Chemistry/Physics. Some seats will provided to candidates who have qualified Admission Entrance Test conducted by University of Delhi for M.Sc. Finals selection is done on the basis of performance showed in Interview. Ordinance of the University does not provide any minimum age requirements or limitations for taking admission in various PG courses.

Admission Procedure for M.Tech Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Delhi University

Admission of suitable candidates is done on the basis of IIT JAM score/entrance test conducted by Delhi University. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of entrance test score should attend the personnel interview to confirm their final selection.

Eligible candidates can download the Application Form from Delhi University official website completely free of cost. Demand Draft of Rs.250/- should be drawn payable at Delhi in favor of ‘The Registrar, University of Delhi’ and need to be attached along with the application form. Application form should also accompany photocopies of B.sc. exam mark sheets, Secondary school certificate/ Matriculation stating rank proof of Joint admission Test, date of birth and M.Sc. Entrance card or result from Delhi University.

SC/ST candidates will get 15% reserved seats. Children or widows of personnel from armed force/ Para-military personnel etc., will get 5% reserved seats. OBC candidates will get seats as per the norms of Delhi University.Selected candidates for interview will be listed in the notice board of the Departments and will also be announced through the official website of Delhi university. Admission results will also be displayed in notice board as well as in the official website.
