PhD in Instrumentation Science is a very popular and specialized course which mainly deals with the modern instrumental concepts which basically includes detectors, instrument control, all types of spectroscopy, sensors, etc.This program is designed with the main aim of equipping the students with basic engineering principles necessary for the operation and maintenance of automated systems and instruments used in various industries. Eligibility criteria:
Students who wish pursue admission to this course must hold master’s degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline (mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology) with 60% marks in aggregate which makes them eligible for this course. For admission to this course, students have to go through the entrance exam conducted by various universities, followed by GD and interview.
Course duration:
The duration of this course is not fixed. It depends on the thesis or dissertation. At the end of the year, students have to submit the thesis or dissertation. The approval of the thesis or dissertation leads to the completion of the course.
