Eligibility Criteria for ‘Post Diploma in Marine Engineering’
Eligibility criteria for the course may vary with institute. In case of Hindustan Maritime Institute, Maritime Foundation, etc eligible candidate must be a diploma holder in any of the following streams.

The qualification must be obtained with 50% marks in English, either in 10th, 12th or at degree levels. Age of the candidate must be below 28 years. Apart from this, candidate must satisfy pre-specified physical and medical standards. Eligibility criteria mentioned here remains same for most of the institutes.
In Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Government Polytechnic, age of the applicant must be less than 25 years, other conditions remaining the same.
Admission Procedure for ‘Diploma in Marine Engineering’
