Central Pollution Control Board has invited application for various posts. Graduation/ Post Graduation from a recognized University and a minimum of 3 years professional experience is the required eligibility criterion. Upper age limit is 30 years.

Eligibility Criterion

Candidates who have the required educational qualifications are eligible to apply for the below mentioned posts in Central Pollution Control Board.

Assistant:

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university is the minimum educational qualification required. There is no minimum mark for qualification. Apart from this, aspirants should have professional experience for a minimum of 3 years in office procedures in any reputed organizations. They should have passed typing test of not less than 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi.

Junior Hindi Translator:

Candidates who have completed Post graduation in Hindi language with English as a subject are eligible. In addition to this, candidates who have completed Post Graduation in any subjects in Hindi as Medium of instruction and English as a compulsory subject are also eligible. Those who have completed graduation in Hindi or English as main subject or any these languages as the medium of instruction can also apply. Such candidates should have completed diploma or certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English or vice versa.

Junior Scientific Assistant:

Graduation in science subjects from a recognized university is the minimum educational qualification. There is no minimum mark required for qualification. Those who have Post Graduation in Science subjects will be given additional preference. Candidates are expected to have 4 years professional experience in pollution control or respective areas.

Senior Technician:

Those who have completed full time diploma courses in any of the following subjects is the required qualification.

• Instrumentation Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Automobile Engineering

Aspirants should have a minimum one year professional experience in related areas.

Junior Laboratory Assistant:

Those who have passed Higher Secondary Course in Science stream are eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed graduation in Science subjects will be given preference. Those who fall in the age group of 18 to 25 years are only eligible.

Junior Research Fellow:

Candidates who have completed any of the below mentioned courses are eligible to apply for this post.

• Master of Science in Microbiology
• Master of Science in Bio Technology
• Master of Science in Botany
• Master of Science in Chemistry
• Master of Science in Organic Chemistry
• Master of Science in Inorganic Chemistry
• Master of Science in Life Sciences
• Master of Science in Environmental Sciences
• Master of Science in Applied Chemistry

Upper age limit for eligibility is 28 years. Reserved category candidates can seek relaxation in upper age limit. Those who have cleared exams such as UGC/ CSIR/ NET or GATE will be given additional preference.

Application Procedure

Eligible candidates are required to apply in the prescribed application format. They will have to provide details such as personal address and academic details. Candidates will have to affix 3 passport size photographs in application form. Fully filled in applications should be sent along with self attested copies of supporting documents through post. Those who have successfully sent the application form will receive call letter for interview.
