After B.Sc in Flights and Aircraft maintenance, a world of opportunities waits for the candidate. People who have done this course can find employment in various aviation and aeronautical industries. This course deals primarily with three broad disciplines. The first one is Aviation industry. The second one is Space exploration and the third one is Defense systems. B.Sc in Flights and Aircraft maintenance will equip a person in the designing, construction, testing, operation, development and maintenance of commercial passenger jets as well as military Aircrafts. For admission into this field, a person should have studied Physics, chemistry and Mathematics at the 10+2 level, with at least 50% marks in 10+2. This course is not available in every university. Only some universities/colleges conduct this course. Candidates have to clear a written examination for admission. The school or the board has to be recognized by the government.

The main area of work in this field is about the design and development of Spacecrafts, Aircrafts and Satellites.

There is a lot of scope in this industry. These professionals can get jobs in any private, government or Aircraft manufacturing industries. Such professionals can find employment in the state owned industrial units such as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and the Defense Research Development Organization (DRDO).Another potential employer is the Indian Space Research Organization. In order to get into these top-notch institutions, one has to be very good in academics. Usually a written test is conducted by these institutions and then followed by an interview. After selection, these candidates are placed in various departments or sections. After the training period, the candidates will be placed as technical officers or assistant aircraft engineers.

Apart from this, these B.Sc degree holders can also do M.Sc in allied fields. For this, they have to clear a written exam conducted by the various institutes, apart from having excellent academic credentials.

Such graduates are in great demand in the western countries. They get to work with some of the biggest names in the Aviation sector such as Boeing and Airbus.
