Ministry of Civil Aviation was established under the Government of India. The ministry is mainly responsible for the regulation of civil aviation in India. The ministry is considered as a nodal ministry responsible for the formulation of national policies and programmes for development of Civil Aviation. The ministry is also responsible for devising and implementing schemes for the orderly growth and expansion of civil air transport. The minsitry runs under the control of Mr. Vayalar Ravi, who is the present Minister of State for Civil Aviation.
Job Profile:
Ministry of Civil Aviation is inviting application from the eligible candidates for the following positions of Senior Airworthiness Officer, Airworthiness Officer, Assistant Director, Air Safety Officer, Deputy Director, Administrative Officer, Aeronautical Officer, Flight Operation Inspector, Dangerous Goods Inspector etc:
1. Recruitment of Senior Airworthiness Officer:
No. of posts: Only 7 posts are available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit should not exceed 65 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university with atleast some years of experience in the respective field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 360000 per annum.
2. Recruitment of Airworthiness Officer:
No. of posts: Only 8 posts are available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit should not exceed 65 years.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university with atleast some years of experience in the respective field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 300000 per annum.
3. Recruitment of Deputy Director:
No. of posts: Only 19 posts are available.
Age Limit: Upper age limit should not exceed 65 years.
Educational Qualification: Degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university with atleast some years of experience in the respective field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 480000 per annum.
4. Recruitment of Air Safety Officer:

9. Recruitment of Dangerous Goods Inspector:

Age Limit: Upper age limit should not exceed 65 years.
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university with atleast some years of experience in the respective field.
Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 360000 per annum.

The other required certificates are need to be sent alongwith a self addressed post card by affixing an additional postage stamp of Rs. 5 and completed application form in an envelope. Sir I have successfully completed three years in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in AVIONIC (ES/IS/RN) stream from INDIAN INSTITUTE OF AERONAUTICAL SCIENCE ,JAMSHEDPUR duly approved by DGCA Govt. Of India equivalent to ICAO type-2 and I am doing B.Sc in aircraft maintenance from university of petroleum and energy studies (UPES) by LATERAL ENTRY means I will be having my B.Sc degree in 1 yer and 6 months. Will I will be eligible for appearing airworthiness officer exam.
