PEC University of Technology was established on November 9, 1921 under the Government of India. Initially the university was named Mugalpura Engineering College but later its name was changed to Punjab Engineering College. The college started functioning on March 19, 1924. The college was awarded the title of being a Deemed University in the year 2003 by Government of India. Board of Governers renamed the institution as PEC university of Technology in the year 2009. The university was considered as the best technical college of India by National Foundation of Engineers in the year 1994.

Job Profile:

PEC University of Technology is recruiting B.Tech or B.E. in Computer Science qualified candidates for the posts of Software Developers, Web Designers and Computer Operator. All candidates will be placed in Chandigarh.

Eligibility:

All candidates should fulfill the age criteria set for the posts of Software Developers, Web Designers and Computer Operator. Candidates are also required to have an experience of atleast one year in the relavnt field for applying on the above three specified posts.

Educational Qualification:

B.Tech or B.E or MCA or M.Sc. is required to be attained as their educational qualification by the interested candidates. Candidates who are applying for the post of Computer Operator, should have a good typing speed on computer.

No. of posts: Several posts are available on the three specified posts of Software Developers, WebDesigners and Computer Operator in PEC University of Technology. The university can also increase the number of posts depending on their needs.

Pay Scale: A prescribed amount of salary will be given to the selected candidates depending on their posts. Different salaries will be given to that candidates selected on the post of Software Developers, WebDesigners and Computer Operator.

Application Fee:

Application fee is need to be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft only. Rs. 350 is the application fee and the Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of Society of Promotion of IT in Chandigarh Administration. Demand Draft is need to be sent in support of the application form.

Selection Process:

Only eligible and candidates will be allowed to face the interview session with the selection committe. And only this selection committee is responsible for recruiting well suited candidates for the specified positions in PEC University of Technology.
