CSIR profile: It came into existence in the year 1942. It is a premier research and development organization with about 37 laboratories under its roof. It aims at maximizing the economic, social and environmental benefits for the country and its people. It covers a variety of sectors such as aerospace, chemicals, energy, drugs and pharmaceuticals, leather and metal etc.
Job profile: The software developers will be responsible for developing different software and work on activities like software programming, UML modeling, database design and management, communication infrastructure management etc. The software developers will also be required to assist their senior developers.
Educational Qualifications: For senior software developer – A candidate must be a B.E/B.TECH/M.Sc/MCA in computer science/IT/electronics and communication engineering with a minimum of 55% marks and with a minimum experience of 6 years OR M.E/M.TECH in the above subjects with a minimum experience of 2 years.
For software developers – A candidate must have a B.E/B.TECH/M.Sc/MCA degree in computer science/IT/electronics and communication engineering with a minimum of 55% marks and with a minimum experience of 2 years OR M.E/M.TECH in the above subjects.
No. of posts: There are 2 posts for senior software developers and 4 posts for software developers.
Pay scale: The developers will be given a pay scale of Rs15600-39100 with a grade pay of Rs6600 for senior software developers and Rs5400 for software developers.
Selection process: The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the interview and also on the basis of their education and experience.
