SRMS(Shri Ram Murti Smarak) Institute of Medical Sciences is a premier medical  Education Institute located in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. The institute has been approved by Medical Council of India, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and UP Government. SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences is affilated to MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly. Presently it offers MBBS course admission to which is through Uttar Pradesh Combined Medical Entrance Test (UPCMET) which is conducted by UP Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA).

SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences was established in 2005 and the next batch will be its 5th batch. The institute has a large campus and is well-equipped with a modern infrastructure for medical education. At present SRMS offers 100 seats in MBBS programme.

Eligibility criteria:

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with atleast 50% marks in PCB(40% for SC/ST/OBC). Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2010 can also apply.
Also a candidate should have attained the age of 17 years before 31st December, 2010.

Availability of forms:

Since the admission to MBBS programme of SRMS is through UPCMET candidates have to apply for UPCMET. The forms for UPCMET are expected to be available by February in selected branches of Oriental Bank of Commerce across a number of cities in India and also from the member institutes. The form can also be obtained by post from UPUMCWA by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form.

Availability of Application Forms: Mid February, 2010
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: April End, 2010
