Punjabi University Patiala 2011 B.Tech
Punjabi University is one of the best Universities of Punjab. University was established in 1962 with an aim of promoting education to the residents of Punjab. University was started with a view of educating the students of Punjab for growth and development of the state. Punjabi University of Patiala provides the various Engineering Courses to the students. University is well known for its B.Tech courses in Punjab.
The main objective of the formation of Punjabi University was to enlighten the light of knowledge amongst the students of Punjab for the development of the state as well as of India. Punjabi University is diversified in a lot of fields so that the students of Punjab can get a lot of choices and can excel in the fields of their choice and take India a step ahead. Development of a country greatly depends on the universities and that is what is why, the education system was kept high at Punjabi University.
How to apply:
The aspiring candidates can download the application form wither from the official website of the Punjabi University, or can collect it in person from the mentioned places. After getting the application form, one needs to fill up the form with all the necessary details and needs to send it before the last date of the receipt of the application form.
Candidates who are interested in obtaining the application from through post have to submit a requisite letter along with a Demand Draft. These candidates have to provide important documents as well as the registration number. The Demand Daft provided should be paid in the name of the Registrant of the Institute and should have a specimen of their signature at the back side. This should also be done in the Demand Draft provide when the candidates are providing at the Cashier accounts.
Availability of Application Form:
The application form for Punjabi University B.Tech 2010 is available on the official website of the university. Apart from that, the application form is also available by post. One needs to write to the mentioned authority for the application form along with the details that are required.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Candidate must have minimum of 60% aggregate in 12th class.
2. Candidate must have cleared his 10+2 level from the recognized University.
3. Merit list will be created on the basis of marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English in the 10+2 board exam.
4. The admission into these courses is completely done on the basis of CET Exam.
5. Candidate must have appeared in CET exam
6. Candidates that have undertaken the diploma 10+2 or are Under Graduate from any discipline are not allowed to sit in the Entrance Exam.

• Date of commencement of application form: Second week of May, 2011
• Last date of submitting completed application form: Last week of May, 2011
• Date of CET Entrance Exam: First week of June, 2011
• Last date of submitting application forms based on the merit list: Mid of July, 2011
Examination Details:
The Question Paper of Punjabi University B.Tech entrance examination generally contains 300 objective type questions. The questions are to be answered within the time span of 3 hours. the questions are from the following segments:
Mental Ability-50 questions
General Knowledge and Current Affairs-100 questions
Aptitude for Law-100 questions
General English-50 questions
Each question generally carries 4 marks. 1 mark will be deducted for each in correct response.
