The Central Ground Water Board (CGWB) was established in 1954. It functions under the Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India. The central ground water board is lead by a chairman and four members under his guidance. It has 18 regional offices, 17 Drilling divisions and 10 unit offices. The main responsibilities of CGWB are to carry out scientific surveys, hydrogeological surveys, exploration, nationwide monitoring of the behavior of water table & water quality, and assessment & monitoring of development, management & regulation of country’s vast ground water resources for irrigation, drinking, domestic and industrial needs.
Job Profile:
Central Ground Water Board invites application for the post of Technical Operator (Drilling). The post is temporary but likely to continue. Probation period of the post is 2 yrs.

Eligibility:
Age Criteria: 18 - 27 yrs (Relaxable as per rules)
Educational Qualification:
The candidates must hold matriculation certificate from an approved board and should also have certificate from Industrial Training Institute in Motor Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Welding is desirable.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected for the post through interview. Only eligible candidates will be called for the interview.
