The fee structure of masters in architecture varies from college to college. Generally, the colleges which are governed by govt. have fewer amounts of fees as compared to the other private or self financed institutions. The amount of fees is as much as low to 2500 in some colleges and is up to 2.20 lakhs in some private colleges. This post graduation course can be done from various colleges like Jadavpur University, IIT, NIT, Anna University and many other colleges. The amount of fees is as low as 27000 in the NIT. It is about 35000 in the IIT. Anna University charges about 1.40 lakhs per semester for the same.

There are very colleges which provide fees relaxation for lower castes SC and ST. It is offered in some govt. funded colleges like IIT and NIT. However, there is scheme of seat reservation for the students who fall in the category of lower castes, SC and ST in some private colleges at the time of admission.
