Madhya Pradesh board of education is a famous board. Many schools, government as well as private, come under this board. The syllabus of this board is very comprehensive at the same time informative. Class 12 boards are also organized by this Board. It has various subjects and streams selection of which depends on students. Political science is a very important subject with respect to the arts students studying under the Maharashtra Board. Students must know the question paper pattern and marks distribution well before appearing for the examination.

Paper Pattern

There are two distinct sections, viz. objective questions and long answer type question. The section A consists of the objective questions. Questions 1 to 5 are objective type each question carries 5 marks. Each of the broad questions consists of sub parts. Break-up of the marks is given against the question for every question having sub parts. Questions 6 to 21 are long type questions. This comprises the section B.

Distribution of Marks

Total marks for this paper is 100. Section A consists of 5 questions and each question is of 5 marks. Section B, long answer type questions’ section, does not have uniform marking for all the questions in the section. Marks vary from 4 to 6. Questions 6 to 12 are of 4 marks each, questions 13 to 19 carry 5 marks each and question 20 and 21 are of 6 each.

3 hours time is allotted for this paper.
