Paper of client server technologies is related to the study of distribution of applications into two or more than two distinct parts. Server is used to store and retrieve data on the desktop computer; it is made up like a mainframe. The server is used to provide services to more than 1 client which is cost effective.

Which Pattern is followed?

Paper of Client server technologies is consisting 14 questions in it and these questions are distributed in 2 sections according to their type. Section A is of 7 questions from which 5 are to be solved, these are of equal marks. Section B is of 7 questions from which 5 are to be attempted, questions are of equal marks and these questions are to be solved like long answer type questions.

Questions asked in the paper previously are such as centric client/server computing, advantages of client/server computing, tools used to build-up client/server systems, Windows NT Operating System used for servers, three services provided by client-server technology, communication interface technology, components of client/server architecture, LAN manager, mean by reengineering of existing systems, various issues in the development of client/server software, evolution of Web Client/server systems, importance of distributed object,  distributed objects and components, workbench architecture, short notes on SQL Tool set and power builder,  GUI front end tools etc.

How to obtain the maximum marks in the paper?

Candidates are required to answer in such a way that answers look more effective and to the point. Answers should be written in point-wise.

Marks & time Allotted:

Students can secure 75 marks in it and time allotted to secure these marks is 3 hours only.
