Hello
You can apply for following entrance exams: CDS which is conducted every year by upsc for entry to airforce,navy and army,details regarding examination will be released in employment news,or visit upsc's official website www.upsc.gov.in UES : university entry scheme is a scheme for graduates to entry into defense,you have to pass entrance ans ssb interview and medical test for it. there are several mode of entries to airforse as well defense like technical entry scheme etc,you can get all the details from http://www.indianairforce.nic.in Good luck |

age eligibility remains the same whether Technical or Non technical grade Age 16-20 years This is applicable only to men. but the educational eligibility differ for the course |

Combined Defense Services (CDS) Exam is generally conducted twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) to recuirt the Indian Military Academy(IMA), Officers Training Academy(OTA), Naval Academy and Air Force Academy(AFA)
Generally,the notice is published in the month of March and September every year. Eligibility Criteria: Age: i)19 to 23 years ii)19 to 25 years for CPL Holders which is issued by DGCA ,India. Upper age limit is relaxed up to 25 years. |

AGE CRITERIA FOR AIR FORCE :
NORMALLY CANDIDATES HAVING THEIR AGE IN BETWEEN 19 TO 23 YEARS ARE ALLOWED FOR AIR FORCE... Additional criteria : 1.You must be an Indian 2.You should complete 12th standard examination. 3.You should not have any color blindness. |

![]() The three branches of the Air force are Flying, Ground duty and Technical branch. The officer cadre provides opportunities for men with 10+2 / Intermediate (only in the Flying branch), graduates (all three branches), engineers (all three branches) and postgraduates (all branches except the Flying branch) in the various positions. Women with graduate (all three branches), engineering (all three branches) and post graduate degrees (all branches except the Flying branch) have openings as an Officer in the Air force. The career options and eligibility for the candidates having different educational qualifications for the Officer Cadre in the different branches of the Air force are given in the following links.
