National Physical Laboratory has several developed facilities like FT-IR Raman, AAS, UV-Vis., Powder XRD, EPR, TEM, SEM, HRXRD, AFM, etc…with a view to meet the requirements of in-house and other institutions and industries.

Job Profile:

National Physical Laboratory (NPL), Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) invites applications for the post of Group IV Scientists from Indian citizens.

No. of posts – Scientist Group IV(4) - 1; Scientist Group IV(3) - 9; Scientist Group IV(2) - 15

P ay Scale – Scientist Group IV(4) - Rs.37400-67000 (PB-4) + GP Rs.8700 with total emoluments of Rs.85465; Scientist Group IV(3) - Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) + GP of Rs.7600 with total emoluments of Rs.56415; Scientist Group IV(2) - Rs.15600-39100 (PB-3) + GP of Rs.6600 with total emoluments of Rs.49153.

Eligibility:

Age criteria:  The maximum age is 45 yrs for Scientist Group IV(4); 40 yrs for Scientist Group IV(3); and 35 yrs for Scientist Group IV(2).
