WBUT ECE 5th Semester Computer Architecture & Organization (EC503) Papers
WBUT, West Bengal University of Technology is one of the major boards for engineering of West Bengal. Out of the many subjects that it presides, Computer Architecture and Organization of the Electronic and Communication department is one the most important paper. Each and every topic covered under the syllabus of this subject is to the point and of equal importance. So, leaving any part or segment of the syllabus can create problem both in understanding of this field and answering the examination questions. Selective study is generally not recommended though knowing the pattern of the question paper certainly helps.

How Many Sections Can You Expect In This Paper?
There are three sections named as GROUP A, GROUP B and GROUP C.
Paper Pattern And Number Of Questions Asked:
GROUP A is a multiple question section where answering of any 10 is a must. Around 15 to 17 questions can be given as choice in this group. GROUP B has 5 main questions with either one or no sub-parts, out which answering any 3 is compulsory. Finally GROUP C also has 5 main question answering 3 out of which is necessary as like above but this section is the most important as it carries maximum marks, also the section is lengthy with each question having minimum of 4 sub-parts answering each of which is required.
Division of Marks
The total mark of this paper is 70. Section A out of which carries 10marks, 1 for each multiple choice question. Section B carries 15 marks that is 5marks for each of the three questions and section C has been allotted with 45 marks, 15marks for each of the three questions attempted.
How Many Hours Would You Be Given to Complete The Paper?
A total of three hours is given to the students for completion of the paper.
