Eligibility Criterion for Ph.D in Mewar University

Candidates who seek admission to PhD programmes in Mewar University should have Post Graduation in respective subjects. They should have obtained at least 55 % of marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are required to secure 50 % marks to be eligible. Those who have passed UGC- NET/ JRF/ or M.Phil are also eligible to apply for this course. Candidates who are awaiting M.Phil results can also apply.

Candidates can obtain the application form from the University Campus against cash payment of Rs.1000/-. Application form can be downloaded from the official website of the University. Those who have downloaded the application form should pay the registration fees of Rs. 1000/-. The payment can be made by taking Demand Draft from any nationalized bank in favor of “Mewar University”, payable at Chittorgarh.

Fully filled in application form along with Demand Draft and self addressed post card should be sent to “The Academic Programme Officer, Mewar University, Gangrar, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan” within the stipulated time. Late and incomplete applications will be rejected without intimation.

Admission Procedure for PhD in Mewar University

Admission to the programme in carried out on the basis of educational qualifications as well as entrance test score. The official website of the University provides all the details of the entrance exam. Those who have cleared the entrance exam will be shortlisted to attend personal interview and one to one discussion. Candidates who have qualified M.Phil, NET exams are exempted from entrance exam. Admission to such candidates will be on the performance in personal interview.
