I HAVE FINISHED M.Phil in zoology in tamil nadu.now im in ghaziabad UP and i got married recently.now i want to do phd in zoolgy in delhi university. how can i approach and from where i can get the application forms. plz tell me procedure.

Eligibility for
Admissions in Ph.D :
Any Higher Degree of
BITS or its equivalent
with a minimum of
60% aggregate in the
qualifying examination.
Any applicant with
qualification equivalent
to Integrated first
degree of BITS will be
first examined for
suitability to one of
the higher degree
programmes of the
Institute. Such
candidates may first
be admitted to the
M.E./M.Phil.
programmes offered
by the Institute
subject to the
eligibility conditions.
Shortlisted candidates
will be called for a
written test/
interview for
selections. Selected
candidates will be
given financial
assistance in the form
of either a fellowship
of any government
agency or of the
Institute, project or
teaching
assistantship, full/
partial tuition waiver
or a combination of
these. Such selected
candidates will be
required to participate
in teaching and any
other developmental
activities of the
Institute under the
guidance of a mentor.
Industries and R & D
Organizations
collaborating with
BITS can sponsor
candidates to work
for Ph.D under the Ph.D
Aspirants Scheme.
Under this Scheme
such Employed
professionals working
in Industries and R&D
Organizations having
long experience and
proven competence
aspiring for Ph.D.
programme will be
considered and will be
allowed to pursue
their research at their
own locations of work.

All fees are to be paid
in advance. Only
caution deposit and
mess advance is
refundable after
adjustment of dues at
the time of
withdrawal from the
Institute. This applies
to prospective
candidates who are
seeking admission as
well as ongoing
students of the
Institute.

Candidates who are eligible for admission to the Ph.D.Programme will be admitted through an entrance examination to be conducted by the respective departments or/and through an interview by the Departmental Research Committee, Students provisionally admitted to the Ph.D.Programme through an entrance examination or interview will be awarded University Grants Commission fellowships for programmes of
doctoral research or any other fellowship that is launched by the national agencies. The number of fellow-ships under this category will be determined annually by the Department. you must have obtained 50% marks in M.Phil degree

How to apply for PhD in zoology at Delhi university? Should I write my entrance exam and interview in Delhi university...Or is there any other centres?
