Admission Details in M.E Colleges affiliated to GTU
Kalol Institute of Technology, Noble Engineering College, Government Engineering College and Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology are some of the well known institutes that offer M.E under Gujarat Technological University. Admission to the courses is based on national level entrance exam GATE/ Common Entrance Test conducted by ACPC. Non GATE candidates can also apply for admission. Such candidates will have to clear the entrance exam conducted by the Institutes concerned.

Admission Details
Graduation in respective subjects is the minimum educational qualification required for admission to these above mentioned colleges. Most of the colleges consider national level entrance exam, GATE and Common Entrance Test conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) for admission. Apart from this, some colleges have their own entrance test. For instance, C. U. Shah College of Engineering & Technology carries out admission to M.E. programmes on the basis of their rankings in GATE exam and final interview.
Admission to Non GATE candidates is carried out on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying exam as well as entrance exam conducted by the Institute. Entrance test will contain objective type questions which should be answered within one hour. In case of a tie, admission will be given on the basis of marks in qualifying exam and Higher Secondary marks. Final selection will be on the basis of performance in counseling.
