Essential Details on Civil Judge (Entry Level) Examination, High Court of Chhattisgarh
Candidates who have completed Bachelors programme in Law are eligible to apply for Civil Judge (Entry Level) Examination conducted by High Court of Chhattisgarh. Recruitment is conducted on the basis of written test and viva voce. Written exam comprises of objective and descriptive type questions. Those who are between 21 and 35 years of age are eligible to apply. Application to the examination can be done through online mode only.
Eligibility Criterion
Graduation in Law from a recognized University is the basic educational qualification required for this exam. There is no minimum mark required for qualification. Aspirants should have completed minimum of 21 years of age at the time of application. Upper age limit for applicants is 35 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories can seek relaxation in upper age limit as per the notification issued by the Government of India. They are required to submit relevant documents so as to be eligible for reservation.
Exam Pattern
Recruitment to the post of Civil Judge (Entry Level) in High Court of Chhattisgarh is conducted on the basis of written test and Viva voce. Written test comprises of two parts such as
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
Preliminary Exam will contain multiple choice objective type questions. There will be a maximum of hundred questions. Medium of instructions will be in Hindi as well as in English Language. Candidates can expect graduate level questions in this exam. Those who have qualified in Prelims Exam will be short listed for Mains exam. Candidates can expect objective as well as descriptive questions in this section. Those who pass the mains exam will be short listed for viva voce as per their rankings. Questions will be asked for a maximum of 15 marks in viva voce. Preliminary exam will be held in two centers such as Bilaspur and Raipur while Mains examination will be conducted in Bilaspur.
Application Procedure
Eligible candidates who wish to apply for this exam are required to apply online through the official website of the High Court. They will have to provide personal details as well as academic details as per the instructions given in the website. Candidates will be asked to upload scanned copies of recent passport size photograph and signature in JPEG format. The size of photograph and signature should be within 15 KB to 50 KB. Candidates are required to produce the same photograph at the time of Viva Voce. Apart from this, they should take print out of completed application form for future reference.
