The Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training is the authority that conducts Joint Entrance Test (JET) for admission to polytechnics in the state of Punjab. SSC passed candidates can apply for the test by collecting the application form from the board’s office, affiliated polytechnics, etc. Exam centers for attending the test should be intimated at the time submitting application. Exam centers are usually available in major cities like Amloh, Bhogpur, Dasua, Gardhiwala, Kanpur, Mohali, Rayya, and Zira.

Application Process for JET (Punjab State Board of Technical Education)

Application form for JET can be collected from the web portal of State Board of Technical Education, Punjab. Filled up applications should be submitted to any of the affiliated polytechnics. It is also possible to submit the same at the Board’s office before deadline date. Eligible applicants are issued with an admit card at least 2 weeks prior to the exam.

Those who qualify JET should go for the next stage of application process. Such candidates should collect the admission prospectus from District Suvidha Centres or Banks. Book sellers and affiliated polytechnics also issue the admission prospectus. This is made available at a cost of Rs. 250/-. An admission form is included in the admission prospectus. This admission form should be filled up and submitted with an application processing fee of Rs. 300/-. Candidates will be allotted with polytechnics, based on the marks obtained in JET.
