Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) or IIT Mandi was established under the Government of India in the Himalayas. The campus of the institute is spreaded in a wide area of around 530 acres. The major objective of the institute is to provide excellent environment to the students for their learning and research works. The first ever batch of students in the institute was admitted in the year 2009 through the conduct of the competitive examination JEE.
